Abstract
I'll describe novel observables in Witten type TQFT's satisfying some natural conditions.
I'll show that string amplitudes for bosonic string and superstring belong to this class.
My exposition will be based on some results in supergeometry that will be explained in the lectures of my course on April 7 and April 14.
