Abstract
In this talk, we discuss interactions between the fundamental concept of connectivity from graph theory and discrete notions of Ricci curvature originating from differential geometry. This includes various estimates of connectivity in terms of curvature, refining some classical results dating back to H. Whitney. As an application, we show that any regular graph of even order with non-negative curvature has a perfect matching. This is based on joint works with Kaizhe Chen (USTC), Jack Koolen (USTC), Qing Xia (USTC), and Zhe You (ECUST).
