Abstract
Binomial edge ideals of graphs form one of the most studied classes of binomial ideals. They are determinantal ideals and also arise in the study of conditional independence statements. In this talk, we will report recent progress when we try to understand the Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of various algebraic aspects of certain binomial edge ideals. This is a joint work with Guangjun Zhu (Soochow University).
