Abstract
Famously, Deligne-Griffiths-Morgan-Sullivan showed that compact Kähler manifolds are formal in the sense of rational homotopy theory. In particular, all Massey products vanish. I will survey recent results on holomorphic analogues of the notions of formality and Massey products which yield new invariants of complex structures even for projective manifolds.
In particular, I will explain the construction of Calabi-Yau 3-folds which carry nontrivial triple products. This involves a comparison of the triple operations with holomorphic linking numbers (a.k.a archimedean height pairings) which may be of independent interest).
