Abstract
I will report on some gluing constructions of special Lagrangian submanifolds. Joint with Yu-Shen Lin, in the K3-fibered setting, we construct special Lagrangians from certain paths in the base of the fibration, giving new examples of special Lagrangian spheres and (trivial) mapping tori. Joint with Yang Li and Yu-Shen Lin, in the setting of the trivial SYZ fibration, we construct special Lagrangians from locally planar tropical curves, upgrading previous results obtained by Matessi and Mikhalkin.
