Abstract
A fundamental problem in spacetime singularity theory concerns the manner in which spacetime terminates at the singularity. This problem is closely connected with the strong cosmic censorship conjecture in general relativity. We introduce the spacetime inextendibility criteria in low regularities via the volume-distance-ratio asymptote of the timelike diamond approaching the future boundary point. We employ the criteria to prove the inextendibilities of the celebrated spherically symmetric naked singularity spacetime constructed by Christodoulou, and certain spatially flat or hyperbolic FLRW spacetime.
