Abstract
To better identify whether a protein sequence is sufficiently close to a known GPCR sequence cluster, we have tried to use the natural vector convex hull principle. Based on this, we further introduced protein structure metrics including TM-score, RMSD and Yau-Hausdorff distance to help determine the proximity between protein sequences more precisely. I will start by introducing the calculation of these distances, then report the results of these distances on the GPCR dataset, and also describe the problems encountered in the calculation process.
