Abstract
Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) is a high-throughput sequencing technology used to sequence the exonic regions of an organism's genome. WES enables the efficient detection of genomic variations related to diseases, such as mutations, deletions, and insertions. In this seminar, I will demonstrate the process of running a WES data analysis pipeline by showcasing how to download the human reference genome and retrieve sequencing data from the SRA database.
