Abstract
Michaelis-Menten kinetics is a crucial mathematical tool used to describe the rates of chemical reactions in biological, chemical, and physical systems. This paper aims to provide an overview of the fundamental concepts and applications of Michaelis-Menten kinetics, including rate constants, reaction orders, and rate equations. We will explore the pivotal role of Michaelis-Menten kinetics in the study of enzymatic catalysis, chemical kinetics, and reaction engineering. By gaining a deeper understanding of Michaelis-Menten kinetics, we can enhance our comprehension and control of chemical reaction processes within complex systems, thereby offering valuable support for scientific research and engineering applications.
