Abstract
By discretizing gene expression levels, we can transform the expression vector of a single cell into a character sequence. Based on this, we can apply the natural vector method to analyze the similarity between different cells. Due to the characteristics of single-cell data, it may not be suitable for us to establish k-mers on this transformed character sequence, which seems to limit the effectiveness of the natural vector method. However, according to the previous report, the "k-mer free" natural vectors with high-order moments may already contain sufficient information. This week, I will report on exploratory attempts and results in this direction.
