Abstract
In this talk, I will present a new method to detect new DNA sequences whose moment vectors are inside a given convex hull generated by the moment vectors of known sequences. This method is based on mixed integer programming (MIP), and is conducted by the Gurobi optimizer with Matlab. Numerical results show that it is possible to detect new sequences with length up to 5000 bps with this method, and it is verified that the 12-dimensional moment vectors of the new-detected DNA sequences are inside the given convex hull.
