Abstract
In this talk, we will review the notion of stability conditions, explore some basic examples, and highlight their connections with birational geometry and mirror symmetry. We will then discuss various metrics that can be imposed on stability spaces and their properties.

Yu-Wei Fan joined SIMIS and Fudan University as an Associate Professor in September 2025. His main research interests include Calabi-Yau manifolds, derived categories and their autoequivalences, Bridgeland stability conditions, and mirror symmetry.
