Abstract
This talk will be conducted from two perspectives. The first part explores the impact of data elements on the stock price crash risks of Chinese listed companies. Findings reveal a significant negative correlation between data empowerment and crash risks, underscoring the crucial role of data in corporate governance and risk management. Data empowerment mitigates crash risks by stabilizing cash flow volatility, enhancing stock liquidity, and reducing excessive debt levels. The second part examines the relationship between data elements and corporate AI development. The study demonstrates a significant positive correlation between the establishment of data exchanges and the level of AI development within enterprises. This finding highlights the pivotal role of data as a driver of innovation and technological advancement, fostering corporate competitiveness in the era of digital transformation. This talk integrates theoretical insights with empirical findings to showcase the multifaceted impacts of data on corporate risk management and innovation, providing valuable implications for policy-making and enterprise strategies.
