Abstract
We will briefly review the development of topological quantum field theory (TQFT) and topological orders. It is a major open question to describe the relation between the injective ground state of a gapped Hamiltonian and TQFT. We will answer this question. In addtion, we will establish a conceptual connection between TQFT and constructive quantum field theory.
Speaker Intro
I am currently working on Quantum Fourier Analysis, Quantum Information and Subfactor Theory. I am also interested in category theory, harmonic analysis, knot theory, lower dimensional topology, operator algebras, representation theory in mathematics; and quantum field theory and condensed matter in physics.
