BIMSA > Quantum Theory and Operator Theory 2026
Quantum Theory and Operator Theory 2026
Welcome to the Quantum Theory and Operator Theory (QTOT) satellite conference of the International Congress of Basic Sciences, taking place in Huairou, Beijing, from August 24th to 28th, 2026.

(August 24th is the Registration Day)

QTOT brings together leading experts and researchers from around the world, fostering the exchange of innovative ideas and research findings at the intersection of quantum theory and operator theory. Quantum theory, the cornerstone of modern physics, describes the behavior of particles at the quantum scale, while operator theory provides the mathematical framework essential to quantum mechanics and functional analysis.

This year’s conference will feature presentations and discussions spanning quantum information, quantum symmetries (including quantum field theory), operator theory and operator algebra, and noncommutative analysis. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the latest research findings, theoretical advancements, and computational methods, as well as their applications across disciplines.

Beyond the academic program, participants will have opportunities to explore Beijing’s rich cultural heritage, including landmarks such as the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City.

We warmly invite you to join us in Beijing for this exciting intellectual journey at the frontiers of physics and mathematics.
