Advanced Topics in Integrable Systems: Theory, Solutions, and Applications
The Riemann-Hilbert (RH) problem, as an important tool in the theory of integrable systems, is widely used in solving nonlinear partial differential equations, especially in problems such as the nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE) and the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation. This semester, our focus will be on discussing the Riemann-Hilbert problem within the context of integrable systems. We will cover topics such as the RH problem, its applications in integrable systems, methods for solving the RH problem, and recent developments in RH problem research.
