Abstract
In this talk, I review the recent progress in studying gluon scattering amplitudes in anti-de Sitter space using CFT techniques. I will first introduce a bootstrap strategy which is based on symmetries and consistency conditions. Using this method, we obtain all tree-level four-point amplitudes for all Kaluza-Klein levels in a variety of theories in different spacetime dimensions. I will then point out a number of interesting properties, in particular, an AdS generalization of the double copy relation which relates IIB supergravity in AdS5xS5, SYM in AdS5xS3 and bosonic bi-adjoint scalars in AdS5xS1. I will also briefly discuss how to extend the flat-space unitarity method to AdS space to compute gluon amplitudes at loop level. Finally, I will conclude with a brief discussion of future directions.
