变分量子算法可训练性的李代数分析

Abstract
变分量子算法利用强大的经典算力来训练含参量子电路中的参数,是量子人工智能最重要的基石之一。变分量子算法面临很多挑战,其中以贫瘠高原带来的可训练性问题最为显著。本报告介绍我们利用近年来出现的以李代数工具理解变分量子算法的工作。我们分析了QAOA算法---一类广为研究的组合优化变分量子算法---在一些特殊图上的代数结构,并证明了在圈图上并无变分量子算法常见的“贫瘠高原”训练困难问题。我们然后证明对几乎全部有权图和无权图,QAOA都有贫瘠高原现象。研究揭示了图的对称性对QAOA可训练性的复杂影响。希望此系列工作可以启发更多系统性研究,对变分量子算法进行严格的代数分析和有效设计。
