Abstract
Mathematical modelling of engineering and biological systems constitutes a critical instrument for advancing sustainable development goals and stimulating technological innovation. Through the development of rigorous computational representations of complex, real-world processes, it enables accurate prediction of system behaviour, optimization of performance, and the design of innovative solutions that contribute to economic growth and improved societal well-being. The inherently interdisciplinary character of mathematical modelling fosters collaboration across domains, accelerates scientific discovery, and enhances global competitiveness in research and innovation. This work examines a broad spectrum of applications, emphasizing contemporary methodologies for addressing challenges, including thermal management in engineering systems via nanofluid dynamics and the efficient control of ecological and epidemiological processes impacting both human and plant populations.
