Abstract
Quantum computing indicates that physics can not only influence the speed of logical gates but also provide faster algorithms. In this talk, I will show how we explore the intimate relation by designing quantum algorithm with physics and proposing computing models that are beyond the standard quantum computer. My focus will be on our quantum algorithm for maximum independent set and the model of Lorentz quantum computer.
