Abstract
The spectral data morphism introduced by Chen and Ngo is a brand new approach to study the Hitchin morphism on higher dimensional varieties. During the establishment of this morphism, there are several conjectures, one of which is to determine the image of the Hitchin morphism. In this talk, I will review the progress of this conjecture and some potential applications of this new theory.
Speaker Intro
Hao Sun is currently an associate professor at South China University of Technology. Before this, he obtained his Ph.D degree at UIUC in 2018 and was a postdoc at Sun Yat-Sen University.
