Abstract
Let $A$ be a dg-algebra, and let $J$ be a graded ideal in the graded algebra $H(A)$. One may then try to classify the liftings of $J$ to a dg-ideal in $A$. I want to talk about a theorem, joint with $A$. Gorinov, that over a field of characteristic zero any two liftings are quasiisomorphic in a suitable sense. The question was motivated by the problem of describing the rational homotopy type of manifold complements; I also want to discuss this application.

I am mostly interested in the applications of homological algebra to the problems of geometry, in the broad sense.
