Abstract
Mapper-type algorithms are useful tools for revealing the shape of high dimensional data and visualising functions over them. Moreover, new versions of such algorithms that incorporate the symmetries within the data provide ways to compare various descriptors. In this presentation, I will discuss how this tools, combined with machine learning techniques, can be used to explore the relations between different knot polynomials. This is joint work with Paweł Dłotko and Radmila Sazdanovic.
