Abstract
The Hecke algebra is a central concept connecting group theory, representation theory, number theory, combinatorics, and physics, making it an important subject of research. For example, Jones provided an invariant of knots by constructing a Hecke algebra representation of braid groups. Since then, the study of representations of the Hecke algebra of braid groups has become an active area of research. Here we focus on the generic Hecke algebra.
In this talk, we construct an endofunctor on the category formed by a certain type of generic Hecke algebra via the multiplicative middle convolution of KZ-type equations.
