Abstract
There exist several known examples of integrable deformations of 2D sigma models, which admit so-called dual description in terms of Toda-like theories. To extend this description we study CFTs defined by the system of screening charges depending on the continuous parameter b. Supplemented by additional screening charges, this system defines a QFT, which corresponds to the certain Toda QFT in the limit b to 0 and to the deformed sigma model in the limit b to infinity. This can be shown by comparing the two-particle scattering matrix to the corresponding trigonometric solution of the Yang-Baxter equation in th first case. In the second case we examine the deformed sigma model RG flow and show that it is consistens with the screening charges of the theory. We illustrate the above description with the examples of O(N) and OSp(N|2m) theories.
