Abstract
The analog of minimal resolutions of surfaces is not easy for threefolds. Based on the classification of terminal threefolds, the resolution of them is also known. In this talk, I will first introduce the history works, weighted blow up and feasible resolution of terminal threefolds. Then I will introduce the concept of P-minimal resolutions of general threefolds and discuss the relation between different P-minimal resolutions. The minimal model program of threefolds will also be included.
