Abstract
I will explain recent progress on non-invertible symmetries and their interplay with boundary conditions. In particular, I will clarify how non-invertible symmetry acts on the interval Hilbert space and how to organize the interval Hilbert space into different representations/sectors. The topological field theory technique turns out to be crucial for this purpose. As an application, we derive a formula for the universal asymptotic behavior of CFT partition function on the interval at high temperature.
