Abstract
Some 3d N=2 gauge theories can be engineered by hyperbolic three-manifolds in 1108.4389, which is known to be the DGG construction. In this talk, I am going to discuss an alternative way of realizing 3d theories through surgeries of compact three-manifolds and Ooguri-Vafa defects. We can produce the results in 1108.4389 and more. This talk is based on 2310.07624 and 2410.03852.
