This course will focus on a formal presentation of definitions and theorems on quantum channels in quantum information theory.

Lecturer Intro
Meng Cao, male, Han ethnicity, from Lu'an, Anhui. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Tsinghua University in August 2020. From September 2020 to November 2022, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Yau Mathematical Sciences Center (YMSC) at Tsinghua University. Since December 2022, he has been an Assistant Professor at the Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (BIMSA). His primary research areas are algebraic coding theory and quantum information theory. As the sole author, the first author, or the corresponding author, he has published over ten academic papers in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, Finite Fields and Their Applications, Discrete Mathematics, etc. Currently, he is the principal investigator of a National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project.
