Linear Theory of Elasticity
This course is an introduction to the linear theory of elastical mechanics. After introducing some mathematical foundations (e.g. basic differential geometry), we will discuss the concepts of strain and stress, equations of balance, constitutive relations, boundary value problems. If time permits, we will also discuss variational principles and so on.

Prerequisite
Calculus, linear algebra, basic ordinary and partial differential equations, general physics.
