Introduction to resurgence theory
This course offers a rigorous exploration of resurgence theory, focusing on its foundational principles and its modern applications. Major topics include:
- Asymptotic series and Borel resummation
- Simple singularity and ‘general’ singularity on Borel plane
- Alien calculus
- Mould calculus
- WKB analysis and DDP formula
- Numerical approach
- Applications (TBA)
We hope that by the end of this lecture series, the audience will have the ability to calculate concepts such as the alien operator, Stokes phenomenon for a divergent series.

Lecturer Intro
During the course of his doctoral studies, Yong LI primarily focused on resurgence theory and its applications. His recent work involves exploring the application of resurgence theory to various subjects, including modular forms, topological invariants of 3-manifolds, quantum mechanics, etc.
