Engineering Mathematics Seminar: Fundamentals and Frontiers in Control, Filtering, State Estimation, and Signal Processing
This seminar series explores the mathematical foundations and cutting-edge applications of filtering problems and state estimation techniques. We will invite leading experts in the field to present their latest research developments. Presentations will highlight frontier applications in navigation, target tracking, robotics, aerospace systems, and biomedical signal processing. The seminar will place special emphasis on distributed estimation in multi-agent systems, security-focused estimation challenges, and neural network-based data-driven approaches. Through rigorous mathematical discussions, this seminar aims to enhance participants' understanding of current frontiers in filtering research and facilitate knowledge sharing on how emerging AI technologies can address complex estimation problems.
