Call for papers: special memorial issue of BPAM on discrete geometry and applications
16th September, 2025
Discrete geometry, Discrete Ricci flow, Computational conformal geometry, and Applicationsin memory of Professor Richard S. HamiltonThe JournalThe Beijing Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics (BPAM) is a newly established international journal aiming to publish original research papers of the highest quality in all fields of mathematics and related fields. The journal is published by International Press, Boston. Establishing the BPAM journal is a joint effort in several institutes in Beijing, including Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (BIMSA), Tsinghua University (THU), and Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). For more information, please visit the journal webpage https://link.intlpress.com/bpam. The Special IssueWe invite submissions to the special issue in memory of Professor Richard S. Hamilton, whose groundbreaking introduction of the Ricci flow has profoundly shaped modern geometry and inspired entire new areas of research. This issue will focus on discrete geometry, discrete Ricci flow, computational conformal geometry, and their wide-ranging applications. We welcome both original research articles and expository papers that advance theoretical understanding, introduce new computational techniques, or demonstrate significant applications in related fields. SubmissionPlease submit the PDF file of your manuscript to https://ef.msp.org/submit/bpam and select “Special Issue on Discrete Geometry”. Both original research and review articles will be considered, with higher priority assigned to research manuscripts. Articles which have already appeared in substantially similar form elsewhere in the peer-reviewed literature cannot be considered. If you have any questions regarding the submission process, please contact us at bimsajournal@bimsa.cn. |
