International Academic Cooperation Agreement Signed between BIMSA and HSE

       In June 2024, the Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (BIMSA) and the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Russia signed an international academic cooperation agreement, which was signed by Prof. Shing-Tung Yau, President of BIMSA, and Professor Victoria Panova, Vice-Rector of HSE, with the aim of advancing research progress in the fields of geometry and physics.

        According to the agreement, both parties will engage in long-term cooperation in research projects, academic activities, and scholarly exchanges. The coordinators of the agreement shall be Professor Nikolai Reshetikhin, PI of the Mathematical Physics and General Relativity group at BIMSA, Professor Artan Sheshmani, PI of the Algebraic Geometry group at BIMSA, and Professor Valery Gritsenko, head of the International Laboratory for Mirror Symmetry and Automorphic Forms at HSE.
