Biography
Xin Liang earned a bachelor's degree and Ph.D from the School of Mathematical Sciences at Peking University in 2009 and 2014 respectively. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Germany and the Department of Applied Mathematics at National Chiao Tung University. Once he served as an assistant professor at the Yau Mathematical Sciences Center of Tsinghua University. Since 2024 he has been working in BIMSA as an associate professor. His research lies in numerical linear algebra and matrix analysis, with achievements in areas such as theories and algorithms for eigenvalue problem and algebraic Riccati equations. He is an author of the textbook Linear Algebra Primer.
