Biography
Max Wenqiang Xu is currently an associate professor at the Yau Mathematical Sciences Center, Tsinghua University, and the Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications. He was a Simons Junior Fellow at the Simons Foundation and has held positions at MSRI Berkeley and the Courant Institute. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2024 under the supervision of Jacob Fox and Kannan Soundararajan. His research lies at the interface of number theory, combinatorics, and probability.
