摘要
In 2011, Pila proposed a new method using o-minimality and mathematical logic to prove the Andre--Oort Conjecture for modular curves. This framework has been used to great success in unlikely intersection problems, culminating in the proof of the full Andre--Oort Conjecture in 2021. We will demonstrate the method in a simple example and give some hints for how this generalizes.
