摘要
This talk explores how to conduct research in the era of artificial intelligence through an analysis study of a biomathematics application example. We possess our own specialized knowledge and traditional methods, or have developed our own unique algorithms. How can we leverage artificial intelligence (by using large general models to search for the latest literature, write code, integrate various machine learning/deep learning models, etc.) to further enhance our research? This is illustrated using a biological example involving the study of coding RNA and non-coding RNA (ncRNA). Through the natural vector method presented by Professor Yao’s biology team, the lecture explains how to classify coding RNA and non-coding RNA, distinguish among different types of non-coding RNAs, and create customized structural and functional datasets. It further investigates the functional boundaries and variations of small RNAs such as miRNA, siRNA, piRNA, pre-miRNA, and micro-RNA, exploring whether these variations (mutation or insertion) lead to a loss or transformation of function.
These studies significantly aid in deepening our understanding of miRNA mechanisms and will contribute to more precise annotation and functional research.

博士毕业后主要从事无线通信领域方面的工作,先后在朗讯,阿尔卡特-朗讯,诺基亚公司任职,资深工程师,具有23年无线通讯领域的丰富知识和经验。目前就职于北京雁栖湖应用数学研究院的研究员从事生物数学,人工智能,神经网络,机器学习,大数据,非线性滤波方面的研究。
