摘要

I will describe a relation between certain character varieties of a punctured sphere and DAHAs of type $C^\vee C$ and explain how it can be used to find canonical coordinates for the Atyah--Bott Poisson bracket on these varieties and construct a geometric phase space for the trigonometric Van Diejen's system, a $C^\vee C$-analogue of the Ruijsenaars--Schneider system.
