Mini-Workshop on the Yau-Yau Filter and Its Applications
Nature is very complex in terms of its unpredictability, uncertainty and noise interference among many features. The Yau-Yau nonlinear filtering theory has proven to be powerful for unveiling nature’s complexity. We, a group of math and science fans lurking all around the BIMSA, strike to expand and disseminate this gorgeous theory to a broader science community. Taking advantage of the holiday in which there is no class pressure, we sit together to discuss about the past, presence and future of the Yau-Yau filter.
