摘要
In this talk, we will discuss the electrodiffusion properties of ionic flows through an open ion channel via the quasi-one-dimensional Poisson-Nernst-Planck system. The basic framework of the construction for the solution to the model along geometric singular perturbation theory will be introduced first, then the matching asymptotic expansion and regular perturbation analysis are conducted to study the effects on ionic fluxes from large permanent charges and boundary layers. To the best of our knowledge, this work is the very first one to discuss the nonlinear interplays between large permanent charges and boundary layers together with other related parameters. Particularly, many phenomena revealed in this work did not exhibit from the analysis on small permanent charges, whose mechanisms are elucidated from the perspective of internal dynamics. Numerical figures are displayed in the end to explain analytical results in a more intuitive way.
