The advanced evolutionary theory of polygenic trait
This course is a course on the theory of natural selection and long-term evolution of polygenic traits. The course content is based on the mathematical theory of the evolution of complex(quantitative) traits, and the final concern is the synthesis of palaeobiology theory and genetics theory in the evolutionary theory (I believe this is a certain direction and trend in the future of evolutionary biology). From the perspective of evolutionary theory and thought, the course will introduce some basic contents of the long-term evolution theory of polygenic traits at the population level. This COURSE IS NOT AN INTRODUCTION TO A COMPLETED theoretical framework, but rather TO a set OF open theoretical PROBLEMS AND explorations to date. It provides a window for students who are interested in the theory of life evolution to understand the general situation of the field. 本课程是一门讲授多基因性状的自然选择与长期演化理论的课程的高阶部分。课程总体以复杂性状(数量性状)长期演化的数学理论为线索,以进化论中古生物学理论和遗传学理论的大综合为最终关切(这是未来进化生物学的某种方向和趋势)。在本部分中,从进化理论和思想视角出发串讲多基因性状在种群水平长期演化理论的若干基本内容。此课程不是在介绍一个已经完成的理论框架,而是意在介绍一系列开放的理论问题以及到目前为止的探索。为有志于生命演化理论研究的学子提供一个了解领域概貌的窗口。本课程以 "The evolutionary theory of polygenic trait - I" 为先导课程。
