Observing quantum mechanics through atoms and photons
This course will take you through a journey of discovering quantum effects, by observing behaviors of atoms and photons. I will demonstrate interactive experiments, and will navigate from the most basic effects to state-of-the-art quantum research.

讲师介绍
Jiehang Zhang received his PhD from University of Maryland, working on precision measurements with laser-cooled radioactive atoms. He then worked on experimental trapped ion quantum information as a postdoc, realizing the first discrete time crystals, as well as simulation of quantum dynamics near the verge of classical intractability. He was an assistant professor in New York University, and professor in University of Science and Technology of China, prior to joining BIMSA.
