An invitation to group theory in quantum physics
At the beginning of the twentieth century, Emmy Noether explored the relationship between the symmetry of a physical system and its conservation laws. After that, group theory has been increasingly widely applied in physics. In this course, we will introduce the foundational concepts, techniques, and applications of group theory in quantum physics.
