Visiting Scholars Program
The CAMC Visiting Scholars Program is designed to promote collaboration between researchers in China and Africa. It provides funding for mathematicians from Africa to visit one of four research centers in Greater China:
What the grant covers

- 1 Airfare reimbursement is limited to economy-class tickets.
- 2 Details regarding accommodation, meals, and other local arrangements will be specified by the host institute in the offer letter issued to successful applicants.
If required, your host can pre-arrange flights and accommodation for you.
Eligibility Criteria
The program is open to postdocs and researchers in mathematics and related areas who reside in Africa.
Selection Process
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Please apply at https://forms.gle/mE5w4E9gkibXYfZAA.
It is important that the visitor have an academic host for the duration of his/her visit. Please nominate a host at your chosen institutions.
The applicants will be periodically ranked by the Scientific Advisory Committee and high-ranking applicants will be sent to their chosen institutions for evaluation.
Successful applicants will be contacted by the staff of the respective host center.

Mainland China and Hong Kong have visa-free entry for 48 and 170 countries and regions, respectively. The links below provide more detailed information.
